Epidemiology

 

Less common

 

Aetiology

 

Caused by fall on outstretched extended wrist

- hypothenar eminence strikes ground first 

- isolated LT ligament injury

 

Can be part of perilunate dislocation

- SL heals

- residual LT laxity
